Quinn Holtby
Founder, President and Chief Executive Officier
Quinn founded Katch Kan™ in 1994 with the vision of protecting and preserving the land and water where the upstream Oil and Gas industry operates. Quinn had founded the vision of Katch Kan™ from his time spent on the rigs where he witnessed countless preventable accidents, irresponsible waste and unnecessary environmental damage. He was committed to making a positive impact. Quinn continually strives to provide his visionary mindset towards growing the company with a strong financial, operational and sustainability performance.
Ray Coleman
Chief Operating Officier
Ray has been involved in the Oil and Gas industry for 35+ years. His previous experience at AKITA Drilling is where he led the integration, operations, and growth of the company. He joined Katch Kan™ in 2022 as VP and was appointed COO in 2023. He now directs Katch Kan™ ‘s business activities, through building the appropriate organizational capabilities and capacity to deliver on the company’s stakeholder strategy. Ray passionately strives with integrity, respect, and commitment toward operational excellence.
Tim Dibben
Vice President – HR/HSE/QAQC
Tim is the Vice President of HR/HSE/QAQC and joined the company in July of 2023. He brings 30-plus years of experience in Oil & Gas at all levels of management. Tim is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional committed to building and directing high-performance teams driving operational excellence. Active in the oil and gas industry on various committees; IADC, CAOEC, Energy Safety Canada, and Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Chris White
Manager - Sales and Marketing
Chris has spent the last 17+ years in the Oil & Gas Industry in various roles, cultivating an extensive understanding of the sector through hands-on field experience and strategic corporate sales initiatives. As a Sales and Marketing Manager, he leads a multinational sales team at Katch Kan, ensuring cohesive operations across diverse geographic markets. Chris’s leadership is characterized by a commitment to delivering unparalleled service and support to our customers.

Katch Kan launched the new product, Kan Stabilizer
A portable drill pipe stabilizer for a top drive application. Protecting the master bushing and prevents tools going down the annulus.

Reduce Your Environmental Footprint
Verification Process
A backdrop target zone (BTZ) consisting of light coloured impermeable fabric was installed below the rig floor and BOP structure to collect any drilling fluid released on the rig floor and substructure. Katch Kan system enable the collection and retention of drilling fluids released from the drill pipe during tripping operations. During 4 tripping events the system collected 99.9% of Drilling Fluid. Resulting in significant cost savings.

Our manufacturing, quality assurance, product development, and quality control operations are certified to ISO 9001 standards to ensure consistently high-quality products and services. We follow global best practices for environmental performance under the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard. The ETV Program has certified our technology’s environmental claims according to ISO 14034 standards (Environmental Management/Environmental Technology Verification or ETV) to validate reductions in environmental impact.

Katch Kan is strongly committed to providing a safe workplace. The purpose of this policy is to minimize the risk of personal injury to employees and damage to Katch Kan and personal property. Katch Kan does not expect staff to become experts in psychology or to physically subdue a threatening, violent, or potentially violent individual. Katch Kan does, however, expect and encourage staff to exercise reasonable judgment in identifying potentially dangerous situations.
Threats, threatening language, or any other acts of aggression or violence made toward or by any employee WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. For purposes of this policy, a threat includes any verbal or physical harassment or abuse, any attempt at intimidating or instilling fear in others, menacing gestures, flashing of weapons, stalking, or any other hostile, aggressive, injurious, and/or destructive action undertaken for the purpose of domination or intimidation. Weapons are prohibited on Katch Kan premises.
