2nd Stage Low Profile Katch Kan

Description

A load rated lower collection tray that works in conjunction with the Adjustable Containment Enclosure™ and Upper Katch Kan™ to catch fluids escaping through the work floor. It prevents:

  • Fluid loss due to rotating heads/under-balanced drilling
  • Negative environmental impact from drilling fluid discharge
  • Increased operational cost to replace lost drilling fluid (especially oil based)
  • Increased potential of kick turning to blowout
